The course in detail.

km 0 · Start

Stift Spital am Pyhrn

Joint start in front of the abbey. Past the museum „Between Heaven and Earth", then towards Windischgarsten and up the Wurbauerkogel into the alpine pasture region.

ca. km 9 · Aid station

Marktplatz Windischgarsten

First aid station in the village centre, then on towards the Wurbauerkogel and into the Hengstpaß area.

ca. km 11 · Aid station

Wurbauerkogel panorama tower

Climb up the Wurbauerkogel with a first panoramic view over the entire region.

ca. km 21 · Aid station

Hanslalm

In the middle of the alpine pasture region above Rosenau, in the Hanselreith area. Continue via Dörflmoaralm and Pramfelderreith towards Hengstpass.

ca. km 24 · Finish

Hengstpass

Finish of the Challenge distance at the Hengstpass hut cluster with Zickerreith and Egglalm. From here, you can cheer on Ultra participants or head back to Spital am Pyhrn.

Shuttle back: An organised bus brings participants comfortably from the Hengstpass back to the finish area in Spital am Pyhrn.
Aid Stations

Catering along the course.

Regional clubs, mountain huts and volunteer helpers provide all participants with drinks, snacks, energy bars and regional products along the course. Some stations also offer warm and cold food. We recommend carrying enough fluids and a personal energy reserve as well.
